Wasat: a Gemini client for Android

Wasat is a Gemini protocol client for Android. It is intended to be a simple, default browser for both new and experienced users.

Features

At the time of this writing, Wasat does not have any features.

The name

Wasat is the name of the star Delta Geminorum (δ Gem), a triple star system in the constellation Gemini, about 60.5 light-years from Earth. The Arabic name "Wasat" means "Middle", probably because the star appears very close to the ecliptic, hence, in the middle of the sky.

License

Wasat is nonviolent software. It is licensed under the Cooperative Non-violent Public License, version 7+. Yes, I know that this license is not compliant with the OSI's Open Source Definition. Yes, I also know that it is not GPL-compatible. Complaints about the license will be printed, and the printouts fed to the Cardassian voles living in my attic.
