I want to install this on my VPS, but I use Nginx on it. Is it possible that a Nginx example configuration can be added to the install instructions?

I would be glad to include Nginx instructions, but I've never used it myself. You should be able to get it working by adapting these instructions for installing a Django app: https://uwsgi-docs.readthedocs.io/en/latest/tutorials/Django_and_nginx.html
